What Fb Means
Fb appears in the same list of keyboard and key problems on page 17 of the P365IME manual. What Bertazzoni publishes is the group, not a per-letter definition, so the honest reading is that the control has stopped the heating elements because the touch keyboard stopped behaving as expected - and that a spill or an object over the commands is the first thing the manual asks you to rule out.
Common Causes of Fb
- Something left lying across the control strip while a zone was running
- A boil-over that ran down over the keys and dried there
- A deteriorating key contact or ribbon inside the panel
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Clear the glass completely, wipe the control strip dry and check that nothing metallic - a trivet, a utensil, a pan handle - is resting across it. Then cut the supply at the breaker, wait a minute and switch it back on.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Take the supply down at the breaker before anything under the glass is touched, because the panel ribbon runs directly past the coil wiring.
- Refitting a keyboard ribbon that has been creased gives an intermittent problem, which is considerably harder to trace than the steady one you started with.
- Lifting the glass to reach the panel may affect whatever cover is still running on the appliance, so read your terms before you start.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
