What Fresco too warm Means
Fresco is the name Bertazzoni gives the dedicated fresh-food compartment on these models - the drawer held close to zero for meat, fish and dairy. This message means that compartment has drifted above where it should be, and Bertazzoni sends it to the troubleshooting guide rather than treating it as a reminder.
Common Causes of Fresco too warm
- The drawer left part-open or blocked by over-packing
- A large quantity of unchilled food loaded into the compartment at once
- A damper, fan or sensor serving that compartment no longer working correctly
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Check the Fresco drawer closes fully and that nothing is packed against its air inlet, and give the cabinet time if the drawer was recently restocked or the appliance has just been switched on. If the message is still there hours later, it needs looking at.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The compartment exists to hold food at the edge of freezing, so a drift upwards matters more here than in the main cabinet - check what is in there before you decide to wait it out.
- Air routing to a dedicated compartment runs through dampers and ducts behind the liner, and pulling that liner to look is how the foam behind it gets damaged.
- The wiring for the compartment sensors runs back to the control board, so any probing happens with the appliance unplugged rather than live.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
