The PROF486GRTBXT combines six gas burners with an electric griddle in a 48-inch rangetop with no oven cavity of its own. As on Bertazzoni’s 48-inch ranges with the same griddle-plus-gas-burner combination, the griddle runs on its own electric element and thermostat entirely separate from the gas burners around it — a cold griddle with every burner lighting normally is an electrical problem on an otherwise all-gas cooktop, not a sign of a wider problem.
