The REF24BMBPNB is the non-ice-maker counterpart to the REF24BMBIPNV, sharing the same bottom-mount sliding-door cabinet but without the automatic ice maker or its water line. That simplifies the appliance in a real way — there’s no ice maker module, water valve or fill line to diagnose — so a service call on this model rules out an entire category of complaints that would apply to its ice-maker-equipped sibling.
