What CLEAN Light Flashing (Sound Off) Means
Bertazzoni's own troubleshooting guide identifies a flashing CLEAN indicator with no sound alarm as a sign that one or both oven selectors on the range were accidentally moved out of the CLEAN position while the self-clean cycle was running.
Common Causes of CLEAN Light Flashing (Sound Off)
- A selector accidentally bumped or turned during the cycle
- Curious pets or children near the control panel while self-clean is running
- A selector that doesn't seat firmly in the CLEAN position
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
This one is genuinely DIY — Bertazzoni's own guide has you turn both selectors to OFF and restart the self-clean cycle properly, making sure nothing bumps the selectors while it runs.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- None — this reflects the cycle being interrupted by a moved selector, not a hardware problem, and restarting it properly is the documented fix.
- If the selector genuinely won't stay seated in the CLEAN position even when nothing is bumping it, that's worth a technician's look rather than repeated attempts.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
