What Lsb Means
On the DW18PR the letters Lsb on the LED screen are not an error at all - Bertazzoni's troubleshooting table lists them alongside the rinse aid indicator, with "add rinse aid" as the whole remedy. The machine is telling you the dispenser has run down.
Common Causes of Lsb
- The rinse aid reservoir running empty through normal use
- A dispenser cap not screwed back down fully after the last refill
- A rinse aid setting turned higher than the household needs, emptying the reservoir faster
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Open the rinse aid reservoir inside the door, top it up to the marked level, and wipe away anything that spills onto the door seal. This is ordinary refilling and needs no tools.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- If the reservoir is full and Lsb stays on screen, the level float in the dispenser is the likely culprit, and that sits inside the door casing where the panel wiring runs.
- Pouring detergent into the rinse aid reservoir by mistake means the dispenser has to be flushed rather than just refilled, so check which cap you have opened before you pour.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
